About the Residency

The residency invites artists of all backgrounds and practices to take inspiration from the collection here at Pollock's Toy Museum to produce work and develop their practice. We have a print studio in the basement with everything you need to produce many different types of prints. This is because our history is rooted in theatrical printmaking and Jack Fawdry Tatham, great grandson of the Museum founder, is also a printmaker.  That said, you do not have to be a printmaker to take part in this residency!

The residency is in its early stages but the basics look something like this:

  • Full access to Museum and print workshops for an agreed period,

  •  Exploring the museum collections, history and buildings to create a series of work that is in response to or connected to Pollock’s,

  • The residency doesn’t have to but can culminate in an exhibition, designing a product for our shop, leading a workshop or anything else you want to discuss.

We are not currently taking applications for the residency. To find out when we are open for applications please sign up to our mailing list.
