About the Blog

Tales from the Toybox is the official Pollock’s Toy Museum blog. We publish content about:

• New donations to the collection
• Items undergoing conservation 
• Exhibitions run by us or including items on loan from the collection
• The history of Pollock’s Toy Museum and toy theatres 
• The history of toys and childhood, including social history and manufacturing 

The blog is primarily written by the museum trustees and curator however we are keen to add more voices to the mix. If you are a professional, artist, or academic with an interest in toys and games relating to your field who would be interested in volunteering to write for us we would be particularly interested in hearing from you.

We would also like to hear from any British toy makers and manufacturers who might be interested in collaborating to unlock stories from your archives.
