Dickens Museum toy theatre shows

It’s showtime! Pollock’s Toy Museum is on tour and will be bringing two delightful double-bill toy theatre performances to the Charles Dickens Museum on 23 August and 6 September 2025.

Timed to coincide with the Showtime! exhibition focusing on Dickens’ love of all things theatrical, these intimate performances within a period setting will bring to life the authentic Victorian entertainment that Dickens himself enjoyed as a child.

This is a ticketed event, as there is limited space available. Tickets cost £20 for adults and £18 for concessions. Full entry to the museum is included, normally priced at £12.95 for adults, so do make sure to arrive in time to enjoy everything on offer. The museum is open 10am – 5.00pm.

The performances on Saturday 23 August will be of Cinderella and Dick Whittington. The double-bill is showing twice, at 12.00 noon and again at 2.00pm. This is a ticketed event suitable for ages 3+.
