Hackney Museum toy theatre shows

Pollock’s Toy Museum is taking its popular toy theatre shows on tour this summer. Come and join us for a double-bill of traditional tales at Hackney Museum on Wednesday 13 or Thursday 14 August.

Benjamin Pollock, after whom Pollock’s Toy Museum is named, was a publisher of Victorian toy theatres. He operated out of a shop in Hoxton Street, in what is now Hackney. The business carried on into the twentieth century. Now, we are taking the toy theatre back to Hackney! Join us for our free live shows at Hackney Museum.
