Visit the museum

You can visit highlights from the museum collection and shop a selection of products at our residences in Croydon and Leadenhall, London.

Pollock’s Toy Museum was originally founded in Monmouth Street, Covent Garden, before moving to a brightly painted building in Scala Street that became its home for many years. After leaving that location, the Museum Trustees were fortunate to get use of a shop unit in Croydon’s Whitgift Centre, and another in Leadenhall Market in the City of London. In each of these, you will find changing displays showing a selection of items from our magical collection, although many more items are currently in storage until a new long-term home can be found.

At both Croydon and Leadenhall – and soon also online – you can shop our range of cut-out card theatres, greetings cards, wrapping papers and other carefully chosen traditional toys and games. Every purchase helps to support the museum to care for the collection and find a new long-term home where it can be seen and enjoyed, and become the catalyst for educational, family and community activities.
