Our miniature display in Leadenhall offers the chance to see some of the highlights from Pollock’s Toy Museum’s collection in the historic heart of the City of London.

Various antique toys including a doll hiding in a cabbage, teddy bears, a sailor doll, and others, all displayed within a glass cabinet.

Leadenhall Market is a stunning Victorian edifice, recently known for appearing in the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Within the Grade II listed market building, our small shop unit has been filled with a selection of toys, games, books and dolls from the collection.

The museum gift shop is the perfect place to treat yourself to some traditional theatres and toys.

Entry is free but donations to save the collection are welcome.

Latest exhibition: Shops!

Leadenhall Market’s pretty Victorian shop fronts have inspired our latest small display at the site, focusing on shops. You’ll be able to see six prints from The Book of Shops, published in 1899, including the charming toy shop shown below. Toy theatre shop scenes, picture books featuring shopping themes, and a recently gifted model shop complete with period miniature food packets round out the mini exhibition.
