Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
We hope you will enjoy seeing these Easter-egg themed items from the Pollock’s Toy Museum collection.
The first egg features a greeting from Pollock’s itself. The second image shows a group of wooden Easter eggs containing surprises and gifts from Germany, Poland, India and Russia. and the third shows a decorated wooden egg from Poland and the red hares it contains. Hares feature in an ancient European folk belief that hares laid eggs in springtime, which became Anglicised as the story of the Easter Bunny.
